Aisha – the little mommy
This gorgeous creature became a mother.
You would say: So what, a normal stray cat situation? Yes, but not quite… Some things make it a little more complicated: Aisha is less than a year old and she already faced with reality – become a mother; but it’s not the worst in that story…
We are asking endless questions; one of them is: Why are there so many pregnant cats near residential blocks entrances, near stores, near garbage containers? Why is it this way when there is a castration project in Burgas, which is allegedly active? And it didn’t start yesterday. If everyone is doing their job, the situation wouldn’t be so desperate. Why??? Can you answer that question? We are guessing the answer, but…
To get back to the point. Aisha is three – legged and she fights for her survival and now also for her babies’ survival every single day. In a sunny day, but not so sunny for her, she hid in the engine of a car and that’s how she lost her leg. The man who did this to her didn’t mean to, but he didn’t stop it. Indifference and apathy – it’s what you can meet in every corner and it’s the worst enemy of homeless animals!!!
Aisha is not mad at humans; she accepted her fate. She still loves us – humans. She still seeks our contact. But only a handful of people help her – the way the can, with food. But even this is getting difficult for them, because “the other people” don’t like her; they say she spreads diseases and is dangerous to their children. Why? Because Aisha inhabits a place near a “well – known sand playground” in a “well – known neighborhood” in a “well – known city”. They are fully against feeding strays. That’s why the people who love Aisha are forced to hide when feed the poor creature, as if they are some kind of criminals. They do it to avoid being fined, to avoid being bespattered. Unfortunately, this is the reality in Bulgaria.
If you have some space for Aisha and her babies, she would be infinitely grateful, and so would we!
She needs foster or forever home!
