The big girl with the heart of a child
Her story is a sample of a huge part of Bulgarian strays. It won’t surprise you but we hope it will touch you…
Kara used to live on a motor – truck parking lot. Alone, very skinny, relying only on the goodwill of a kind woman who never missed a day to go on place and feed her. But a couple of months ago it turned out Kara got pregnant. Then the woman made the decision to sterilize her while it was still possible because she didn’t want her inaction to be the reason for new souls suffering in our unfriendly streets. Since then Kara has been safe under foster care and waiting for her happiness to come.
She is big, that’s true. But she’s so gentle and childishly naive, enjoying each small gesture and each day of living. She weighs about 35 kg and is about 68 – 70 cm tall to the shoulder. Kara is microchipped, vaccinated and regularly dewormed and deflead. Walks fine on a leash and loves walks and games. She gets along very well with other dogs and is very kind with children. Kara has the incredible wish to please her Human and follow their directions, so eager to please them at all costs!
The way of a stray animal from the street to the happy home is long and full of lots of difficulties. Whether Kara’s way from the parking lot to the couch would end soon, depends on some of you reading these lines right now and recognizing Kara as their dog, their longtime friend.
Kara won’t be given for living on a chain and will be given on responsible people only. She’s very kind and loving and is no good for a guard dog in a yard.
If you wish to adopt Kara, please contact us to fill our questionnaire form.
Each animal to be rehomed through our organization requires spaying/neutering if the animals for some reason were not spayed/neutered while they were under our care.
