One of our kids went under the Rainbow Bridge… In the name of all the struggle and efforts of Freddie and the family who rescued him, we want to publish the Good bye letter of the people who took care of him…
“I just wanted to inform everyone who reads this website that Freddie passed away (who was up for adoption by my daughter who rescued him) on Saturday lunch time. It obviously wasn’t meant to be! We only had him a week and we loved him dearly. In fact, my husband and I loved him so much we had decided to keep him for ourselves instead of worrying about finding a new home for him. He had not started life very well, being abandoned on the roadside. He became part of our family for the short time he was with us and we adored him, the poor, tiny sole.
We miss him very, very much; he brightened our lives for the short while we had to take care of him, as he needed us so much and we will always remember Freddie for that.
From his hard start in life, being left to die on the roadside, crying, we did hope we could put right what he desperately needed in particular from his mother, but we couldn’t. I cannot tell anybody how bad we feel; we just loved taking him in and looking after him, he will always have a special place in our hearts. I really wish some people would become educated on cruelty to animals and have the decency not to be so heartless.
God be with you Freddie, love always from your adopted family who saved you for a short time. I’m sorry we couldn’t save you.
Denise and Darren”
